I see it as further proof that Target is very consciously a blue-state kind of place. It is kind of logical, when you think about it: You can already buy condoms, lube, and even silk undergarments at Target. Why should you have to go somewhere else for something as simple as a vibrator or dildo?
I'm sure this stuff will be on the top shelves, though...
Maybe it will finally become "accepted" by mainstream society to have a sex toy. Targetise-ing them sounds like a good idea to me. It will help alleviate the embarrassment some people experience by going into a sex shop.
Did I mention that I don't have a Target up here?
